S&K Logistics Services Awarded USAF Aviation Parts Support Contract for KC-46 Aerial Tanker
S&K Logistics Services, LLC (SKLS) was selected as 1 of 14 awardees on a $1.9B contract to supply initial spare parts for the KC-46 aerial refueling fleet of the U.S. Air Force and international military customers. This multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract is administered by the Department of the Air Force Mobility and Training Aircraft Directorate’s KC-46 Division.
The new KC-46 tanker provides worldwide, day and night, all-weather aerial refueling to receiver-capable U.S., allied, and coalition military aircraft. The KC-46 platform is based on the commercial, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or equivalent, certified 767-2C aircraft modified to meet the unique KC-46 tanker requirements. The SKLS Team is challenged with outfitting worldwide KC-46 main operating base and Air Logistics Complex locations with initial spares for critical line replaceable units, ensuring complete mission responsiveness for these diverse end users.
